Take Advantage…

written on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at 1:14am

Sad to know the truth that the new generation mostly enjoys demanding free treats and taking advantages easily without hard work… Imagine a new set of leaders like these. There’s no hope for a clean patriotic service here in the Philippines. I understand politicians and their corruptions. The basis for this is the lost of virtue to each one of us Filipinos. The take-advantage system, that even our personal problem we brought its solution by flamboyant solicitations (marked by calloused-face syndrome) to our government officials we’ve elected. Why not work hard, find ways to earn clean money. Where do our talented and skilled youth go? To bars or drinking spree along the streets until they are all stupefied? People at the age of 18 and upwards who are still dependents to their parents? Are these people really worthless idlers? That even though they are starting their own family they are still depending on their parents’ income? This is why most Filipinos remained in the state of poverty. To ponder all these, obviously we’re not really poverty-stricken people as long as we have our healthy physical condition. Filipinos are known hardworking based on our history and even our present world-class splendors. Imagine Filipino people, our government officials’ monthly salaries aren’t enough to be shared to many different solicitors from all walks of life coming to their offices everyday. So better gain money from government project’s budgets. That’s why our big and small artifacts are made with low quality, like our highways, bridges, roads, buildings, and other structures - won’t last for long years enduringly. Election Day is coming again; I wish we’ll vote wisely not because we’re paid but because we aim to a better future. My God! When will this trait be contained? Stop making busted facilities. Let’s strive to be more productive in our individual ways of living… God bless the Philippines! So be it!
